Nelson Francis joined the HDREP team during the summer of 2007 and quickly became HDREP's Market Research Specialist. As a tenant representative Nelson maintains a thorough knowledge of market availability in the Chicago Metropolitan Area and works closely with all members of HDREP to create presentation tools for client's office and industrial needs. Nelson specializes in the preliminary site identification for clients seeking to lease office and industrial space in the Chicagoland area. He is dedicated to ensuring that HDREP clients are exposed to every potential alternative in the marketplace. His clients recognize him for his passionate and attentive approach.
Nelson is a native of St. Louis, Missouri and graduate of DePaul University where he received his degree in Real Estate with an emphasis in Finance. He is currently an active member of the DePaul Real Estate Alumni Association and is a dedicated advocate for Multiple Sclerosis.
Margie Kilgore

With over 12 years of experience in administration, Holly Duran's Executive Assistant and Project Coordinator for HDREP's consulting clients.
Margie previously worked for nearly a decade at OWP/P, an architectural and engineering firm based in Chicago. She began her career there as a Project Administrator, working with several project teams in the Corporate/Commercial, Education, and Healthcare markets. She later became Executive Assistant to the firm's leadership team before serving as the firm's Administrative Services Manager and HR Generalist. Margie was also an Associate of the firm and for many years was an active mentor in OWP/P's Mentor/Protégé program.
Margie has a Bachelor's of Fine Arts degree from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. From 1998 to 2005, she and her husband founded The Giving Tree Theatre Company, a non-profit children's touring theatre company where she was the set director, costume designer, and Board of Directors member.
Margie's charitable work includes an active membership on the Children’s Service Board of Children’s Memorial Hospital.
Vanessa Smith

Vanessa Smith serves as Office Manager for HDREP maintaining the physical day-to-day operations of the firm. Vanessa joined HDREP in March 2007, with 13 years of experience assisting other successful real estate organizations with various types of high level transactions from inception to completion.
Vanessa maintains a professional and inviting workplace for HDREP and also ensures that all of the daily office needs are met with efficiency and accuracy. Multi-task oriented, Vanessa often assists the team on various projects and assignments as needed.
Vanessa has been an active participant in fundraising for the Muscular Dystrophy Association, and The March of Dimes Walk to Prevent Birth Defects.
