Rich Schulz is HDREP’s financial expert, with an extensive analytical background in real estate finance, valuation, investment, acquisitions, dispositions, and property tax.  He routinely works closely with clients’ Chief Financial Officers and Finance Departments to clearly define their financial goals and ensure each negotiation/transaction carries out such goals.

 

Rich has played a key role in some of the Country’s most complex and largest transactions.  His financial acumen enables HDREP clients to routinely gain the advantage during critical phases of any transaction and capitalize on significant cost saving opportunities.

 

Since 2000, Rich has completed in excess of 3,000,000 square feet of deals across the Country and internationally.  Most recently, Rich with Holly Duran, spearheaded the negotiation of CME Group’s 400,000+ square foot world headquarters lease at 20 S. Wacker.  Acting on behalf of CME Group, he negotiated against The Blackstone Group and Tishman Speyer Properties.  Prior to that he also played a key role in the negotiation of CME Group’s 223,000 square foot office deal at 550 W. Washington.  Other clients of Rich’s include, Peregrine Financial Group, SMW Trading, Goldberg Kohn, First Street Capital Partners, Mid-Capital Financial Group, Levy Family Partners, and Work Conditioning Systems.

 

Rich is a graduate of Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa and has a Masters Degree from Loyola University of Chicago.  He is currently on the Board of Directors at the Illinois Affiliate of Breast Cancer Network of Strength.
